			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I sometimes hear this a lot. What is better the <a title="insanity workout" href="http://www.gettingstrongnow.com/insanity-workout-review/">Insanity Workout</a> or <a title="Crossfit" href="http://www.crossfit.com/">CrossFit</a>?</p>
<p>If you were looking for a simple answer I am sorry to say that there is none.</p>
<p>What why not? Well there are a handful of reasons.  Both workouts are great!!</p>
<p>There are pros and cons for both.</p>
<p><strong>CrossFit is a lifestyle</strong> and  it changes daily where the<strong> Insanity Workout is a 60 day workout</strong>, so after the 60 days you have to start all over again.  So this one goes to CrossFit for the simple fact, that you can do CrossFit day in and day out without getting bored.</p>
<p><strong>CrossFit is expensive</strong> and can range anywhere from <strong>$100-$150 a month</strong> where as the <strong>Insanity Workout will cost you3 payments of $39 or just a little over $100</strong> and you can use it forever. So for price I have to say that Insanity wins.</p>
<p>Both workouts will get you dripping with sweat and you will get in shape doing either, so it comes down to variety and cost which is really up to the user.</p>
<p>Another aspect is actually getting to the gym. There are not many CrossFit gyms yet&#8230; so you may have to drive a distance where you can just pop in the Insanity DVD whenever you want. So for time and ease Insanity Wins.</p>
<p>These are just a handful of comparisons to both workouts. In my opinion doing CrossFit is going to be the better option in the long run, but like I said it is user preference. As much as you might want to do Crossfit, there might no be a gym close or it may be to expensive. As for Insanity you may love it, but become bored after doing it 2 or 3 times and you might be looking for more.</p>
<p>This much is certain! If you were to do either workouts for 60 days you would feel great! No doubt about it. I have done both and they are hands down a much better option for your average gym going who just gets to the gym and farts around with no real game plan.</p>

<p>If you leave close to a CrossFit gym go check them out. Most will offer a free intro class or a free week so if is well worth the trip.</p>
